Bushings

Bushings operate with sliding motion between the moving surfaces. Bushings are selected based on the velocity and the applied load. A bushing is an insulated device that allows an electrical conductor to pass safely through an (usually) earthed conducting barrier such as the wall of a transformer or circuit breaker.

Grounding Bushings
Grounding Bushings provide a compact means of grounding conduit through an insulated bushing. They protect insulated conductors from abrasion during pulling and mechanical vibration. Grounding Bushings provide voltage gradient between line conductors and ground at point of electrical and mechanical stress on conductor insulation.

Knockout Insulator Bushings
Knockout Insulator Bushings have knockout openings snap into knockout openings on boxes in dropped ceilings or interior walls. This allows low voltage wires and cables to be run to devices inside boxes or enclosures.

Malleable Threadless Set Screw
Malleable Threadless Set Screws are used to connect threadless rigid conduit to boxes and enclosures. The features are concrete tight and they are available with insulated throat. The material and finish is malleable iron/zinc plated.

Plastic Insulated Bushings
Plastic Insulated Bushings are designed to protect wires in threaded rigid or IMC conduits. They are made of heat-tolerant thermoplastic to withstand high-temperature environments. They can be used indoors or outdoors. They are also UL and CSA listed.
