AFCI
The AFCI is a type of duplex receptacle or circuit breaker that breaks the circuit when it detects a dangerous electrical arc in order to prevent electrical fires. An AFCI distinguishes between a harmless arc that occurs incidental to normal operation of switches, plugs and brushed motors, and an undesirable arc that can occur, for example, in a lamp cord, which has a broken conductor.

GFCI
The GFCI is designed for overload and short-circuits protection, combined with Class A ground fault protection. Class A denotes a ground fault circuit interrupter that will trip when a fault current to ground is Milli Amperes or more. The breaker is compatible with Homeline load centers and CSED devices.
